Bitesize

  • Risk in Focus - Nov 22 - The November 22 Bitesize session looked at risk and we welcomed Liz Sandwith, Chief Professional Practices Advisor, Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors.
  • Auditing Culture - Jun 22 - The July 22 Bitesize session provided participants with practical considerations for when planning an internal audit. The session also provided clarity around what culture is and how it can be audited, examined some of the assumptions around culture and the implications of the four types of organisational culture.
  • Fraud – A New World? - Mar 22 - The CHEIA Bitesize session on Thursday, 31 March 2022 had ‘Fraud’ as the topic of discussion. Over forty HE Internal Auditors were joined by colleagues from KPMG who led the very well-received session which considered the definition of fraud, who commits fraud and why and the current fraud landscape. 
  • Apprenticeships - Feb 22 - The CHEIA Bitesize session in February 2022 had ‘Apprenticeships’ as the topic of discussion. Karl Bentley from RSM talked us through some of the challenges.
