CHEIA received funding from HEFCE's LGM fund in June 2007 to continue its work to enhance the quality internal audit arrangements in the sector through professional leadership and representation of the sector's audit professionals.
CHEIA made good progress against all the agreed objectives, including raising awareness; developing links with other sector groups such as BUFDG, AHUA and AUA; engaging a training provider to deliver professional development training and a developer to upgrade the CHEIA website.
